Seen here via official images, adidas sticks with the same leather uppers, royal blue piping and accents, and interior bootie structure for lock-down. This February, the T-Mac 2 will make a come-back in original Orlando Magic colors as well as some new flavors, bring us back to an era when adidas arguably had a more potent athlete line-up than Nike did. It wasn’t until the T-Mac 4 that adidas insert some innovative developments, introducing an external lockdown mechanism at the heel. Noted for its simplicity, the T-MAC legacy was remembered for its clean leather uppers, abstract placement of stripes, and possibly one of the best player logos in basketball shoe history. Adidas is getting in on the retro hoops fun by looking back at one of its most popular signature lines yet – the TMAC for Hall-of-Famer Tracy McGrady.
